Nicholas Mabila

Hello. My name is Nicholas Mabila, and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Johannesburg studying Bachelor of Education. I finished my matric in S.G Mafaesa Secondary School. I currently live in Johannesburg. I enjoy education, the arts, and basketball. I am also interested in travel and biology.

I am a hard-working and compassionate student who has always had an interest in school. I have seen the power of knowledge transfer from a professional educator to a young learner, and I am one of those learners. This event motivated me to seek a career in education.

I was accepted as an orange carpet student at the University of Johannesburg. I served as a student teacher during work-integrated learning at Mandisa Shiceka Secondary School and Madiba Comprehensive School, where I got excellent experience working with children from all backgrounds.

I aspire to be a secondary school teacher who can nurture and inspire young students in the Life Sciences and Geography curriculum areas.
