I offer mindfulness-based consultation, program development and mindfulness instruction in various educational, clinical/medical and organizational settings throughout the Bay Area, as well as one-on-one mindfulness instruction and coaching for adults. My primary intention is to support those who wish to cultivate greater personal awareness and wisdom, emotional and relational intelligence and bring increased depth and capacity to their personal, educational and professional communities.

My work with groups and organizations results in the cultivation of awareness, wisdom and increased relational capacity which supports a healthy community and professional culture.

In clinical and medical settings, I offer program specific mindfulness instruction and evidenced based interventions (including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, pain management, and addiction recovery interventions) relevant to the medical and clinical needs of the individuals and groups.

About Nichole:

Nichole Proffitt is a UCLA trained and certified mindfulness instructor and has been practicing and studying mindfulness since 2000. She has been teaching mindfulness in various capacities since 2006. She has completed trainings in counseling and mindfulness-based leadership development, and graduated from the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center/Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
