Nichole Stark

I'm a woman who's life is her family. I'm married to the most amazing individual I've ever had the privelage of knowing, let alone sharing my life with. We have three beautiful children, two girls and one bouncing baby boy. We're a tight knit group, and family is what's most important to us. My son was born with a very rare chromosome deletion, and we're learning together how to over come the many challenges that this entails.

I grew up in sunny California, lived 10 years in Wisconsin, and 1 year in Iowa. I'm currently back in my home state, so things have gone full circle. I enjoy the usual boring things in life. Good food, good drinks, good tv, and great books. I used to enjoy the out doors but if I'm to be frank with you, I haven't been much of an out doors person lately. That might be something I have to work on. I'm also, always happy to have a nice chat with someone and learn more about them. Im open to questions and try my best to give answers.

My goal with blogging is to raise awareness and teach others about rare chromsome disorders. If you follow a long with my blog, you'll probably be learning right a long with me. I hope to chronical our lessons and challenges, and hopefully inspire some people to see children with disabilities in a different light, and perhaps understand a little bit about what their families are going through.
