Hi, I’m Nick, and I always wanted to be an Estate Agent
Well, that’s not entirely accurate but I did interview with an Estate Agency firm in Berkshire when I left school before falling into another career.
Fortunately that career was in Sales & Marketing, in a particularly fast paced & entrepreneurial environment, and over a 14 year period I was able to work with some fantastic people (including my original mentor) while learning ‘business’ and developing transferable skills.
Fast forward to 2003 and a new opportunity presented itself when I was able to co-launch & lead an Estate Agency in Wokingham.
In 2013 we passed the reigns to new owners and since then I’ve remained in the wider Estate Agency industry, enjoying varied roles and an incredible education while supporting & learning from some inspiring business leaders, all of which has led to launching this new business.
I’ve also accumulated some formal Estate Agency qualifications and am a proud Fellow of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents and a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Outside of my property adventure, I’m quite fond of climbing mountains and have been lucky enough to visit two of the seven summits in recent years (Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Mt. Elbrus in Russia). I’m hoping to run away again in 2019, this time to Argentina where I’ll be attempting to summit Mt. Aconcagua.
