I consult on how to help faculty and students use best practices when using new technology, how to avoid silicon snake oil come-ons, and how to invest as much in people as the technology.

I serve as an editor of writing, a researcher and writer, and can help coordinate or lead educational technology efficacy projects.

I write about the things I care about -- teaching and learning, family, and the rights and responsibilities of citizens in a democracy.
