Nick Erickson is a young journalist from Minnesota with big dreams for the future.

He is a born and raised mama's boy. He has two brothers, Trevor and Jacob, who have all contributed to him being just a little on the weird side.

In his free time, Nick enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching whatever sports the television has to offer, working out and staying active, and reading and writing rhetoric. (And video games: there, I said it.)

He is currently a Junior at Saint Cloud State University, where he will graduate with a degree in Journalism and Creative Writing.

Nick's wanted to be involved in sports since the young age of 8 years old, the year he played his first baseball game. His interest in sports writing grew as he begun to realize just how vertically challenged he really was. (Also, he recently discovered that being a professional friend wasn't an actual career option.)

Nick's dream is to be a big time writer for ESPN or Sports Illustrated. He eventually wants to live out West in the nice California weather and work his way up to being a big shot. But in the end, his career will be a success if he can make just one person fall in love with sports as he has. No matter how much other success he has. He works for the one article that inspires one kid (or adult even) to be as moved by sports or writing, as he is now.

Nick is currently the Staff Writer for the Chargers 101 website. Which is a part of the Sports Media 101 company. This is his first professional writing job and hopes to publish his other work in different venues in the near future.
