Nick Immekus

I am a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Communications. Currently, I am looking for a summer internship in either Human Resources, Marketing or Sales. I'd much rather lead than to follow and I enjoy helping and motivating others.

I played football for the University of Illinois for three and a half years and have learned valuable aspects of teamwork, along with being able to understand time management and the ability to balance all the things in my life. I have a winning attitude and am not a fan of losing in any way, shape, or form in all aspects of life. I also have experience working as a Broker's Associate at the Chicago Board of Trade, in downtown Chicago, IL. During my time as a Broker's Associate, I have learned to become an efficient problem solver and have also learned how to manage working in what can be, a stressful environment.

This upcoming summer I will be financial representative intern at Northwestern Mutual at the Effner Group, in Downers Grove, IL.
