Nick Sulda

Amherst, MA

Hi all,

My name is Nick. I am a junior finance major with an anticipated risk management concentration at the Isenberg School of Management. I am currently employed at the university's Center for Student Development where I work as a data management assistant keeping records of all expenses incurred by UMass student organizations. This past summer I completed my first internship at a company called TurboCare, Inc. I started in the marketing, but due to several unexpected departures, i was brought in to full operation just 3 weeks into my internship. All in all, I'm mbitious and well-rounded finance major with data analysis, forecasting and marketing experience; looking for a risk management position within the insurance industry in the Greater Boston area.

Aside from work academics, I spend a lot of my time on the golf course. Ever since I got my first set of clubs at the age of 5 I've been addicted to the game. I started playing for my high school when i was in the 8th grade and continued to develop a love for the sport. A lot people tell me it's too slow. That's just the beauty of it. The golf course is a place for me to get away. The quiet time alone playing the game i love is a personal paradise. My realistic dream job is to work for a company that has me travel all over to meet with clients and discuss business over a rounds of golf.
