I am a two time graduate of Morehead State University in music, holding both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in performance. Currently, I am pursuing my Bachenlor's of Music Education and serve as the choir director for St. Patrick's Parish in Mt. Sterling, KY, a position I have held since 2011. In addition, I am both an active freelance bass trombonist and vocalist.
I have performed at such prestigious venues as the NEC Philharmonia, NEC Wind Ensemble, the Elmhurst Jazz Festival, The Blue Wisp in Cincinatti, OH, Comedy Off Broadway in Lexington, KY, the KMEA Intercollegiate Band, KMEA Intercolligiate Jazz Band, the KMEA Intercollegiate Orchestra, and a concert tour of the province of Valencia in Spain. I have had the opportunity to play with such individuals as Doug Yeo, Joe Alessi, Randy Hawes, Normal Bolter, Massimo La Rosa, James Miller, Bill Watrous, Tony Baker, Mark Fisher, Greg Wing, as well as many others. I have studied under the tutelage of such illustrious individuals as Doug Yeo, Jeanie Lee, Bill Mann and Dale Warren. I am also a graduate of the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts (2004) where I studied voice under Barry Lawrence.
