My current research interest is the emergence of shared cognition in the team context. By using an interdisciplinary approach that borrows theory and analytical techniques employed in sociology and promising new field of network science, I hope to examine the sequential formation of team mental models. Furthermore, I am interested in interorganizational network structures and 'six degrees of separation.' Finally, I want to identify the patterns of team mental model formation over time.
I would also like to use my skills and abilities to further the development of the field of humanitarian work psychology. I am interested in consulting and long-term projects working on projects in government, politics, and non-profit organizations that process and analyze Big Data to solve global, humanitarian issues.
