Nick Reinis
Peterborough
I am a journalist, lecturer and amateur photographer based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
After completing a three year BA (HONS) Journalism degree at Staffordshire University, I graduated with a 2.1 before starting life as a reporter on a local weekly newspaper.
Having enjoyed local news, I moved to a local daily newspaper, progressing my multimedia and social media techniques. I also successfully completed my NCE for Reporters qualification. As well as news reporting, I also picked up work as a sports writer.
A move to become the deputy editor of a new specialist education in London followed, before I made the move into education as a Lecturer of Journalism in both FE and HE. I also work freelance, as a journalist and PR advisor, specialising in education, travel, events and sport.
Away from journalism, I have a passion for photography, which has played a prominent role in my career. I am an advocate for social media, new technology and media enhancement.
