After graduating from Lakeland High School in New York, Nick Chiapparino earned a presidential scholarship for a four-year enrollment at Pace University, where he is working toward a degree in English and music. Nick Chiapparino is particularly interested in music, which plays an important role in his work and volunteer efforts.
Nicholas Chiapparino writes songs, sings, and plays guitar. He performs live at weddings, special events, and charitable fundraisers. Along with his sister and his best friend, Nicholas Chiapparino performed the Leonard Cohen song “Hallelujah” at a vigil in Yorktown for the children and adults who lost their lives at Sandy Hook Elementary School. He regularly volunteers his time as a performer to the My Brother Vinny foundation, a nonprofit organization that hosts an annual Special Olympics Miles for Medals Walk, holds food and clothing drives, and assists area families in need of outreach services.
In his free time, Nick Chiapparino enjoys sports. He was a hockey goalie in high school and also plays basketball, football, and golf. He is a fan of the Boston Bruins, New York Yankees, and Philadelphia Flyers.
