I've taught for St. Edward's, Southwestern, and Texas State Universities, as well as University of Phoenix and St. Philips College. Courses I've taught include Existence & Reality, Best Writing Since 1990, Rhetoric & Composition, and Creative Writing.
I'm Interviews Editor for Austinist.com, an arts, entertainment, and culture website that is part of the Gothamist network. I'm also a contract copy editor for Zogo Technologies, a higher education-focused software company.
My writing has appeared in such journals as The Southern Review, The Kenyon Review Online, Boston Review, and dozens of others. A chapbook of poems, Elegy for the Builder's Wife, was published in 2010 by Blue Hour Press.
