Nick Cousins

Brighton

Hi, I'm Nick! A recent graduate in International Business with French (yes, I speak French!), I am currently in search of a viable business opportunity here in the fantastic city of Brighton.

Business-wise, I find that marketing and communications is something that I both really enjoy and do well at, although at the moment I'm fully motivated to do a wide variety of things in order to ensure the success of a new business. Of course there is more to me than business. I speak French and my fluency has drastically improved since spending a year studying in Nice. I enjoy cycling, although I have to admit that it was more enjoyable to cycle along the mediterranean coastline as torrential downpours were less frequent. In spite of that I still try to head out on my bike most days, even if it is just to go to the gym... or to Lidl (their fruit and veg is much better than Sainsbury's).

Oh yes, I love food as well. When I get the time I enjoy trying new recipies and impressing others with my culinary skills. Living in France sparked a love for bread, so I have recently been trying my hand at breadmaking; mostly in a quest to replicate a French baguette. So far... the bread is good but not quite up to a French boulanger's standard. I'll keep at it.

Something else I enjoy a lot is acting. Having studied drama at GCSE and AS-level I was an active member of the University's Drama Society and intend to remain involved somehow. Last year, I played the lead role of Jean Valjean in their version of 'Les Misérables' and more recently Sergent Troy in a production of 'Far From the Madding Crowd' with Ditchling Players.
