As the old saying goes, "College changed you". Many people see this saying as a negative connotation but college has changed my life for the better. I started off my college journey as a football player for the University of Dayton. After receiving the award of Scout Team Player of the Year after my first semester, I made the most mature decision of my life and decided to give up the game that I have always loved. My next step at Dayton was to join a business and social fraternity. I rushed Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity and Pi Kappa Phi social fraternity during the same semester. The task of rushing two fraternities at the same time did not come easy but I have always met adversity and difficulty with high spirits. I have been the service chair for Pi Kappa Phi and am currently the social chair as well. This also will be my second year active as the Greek Week Liaison for Pi Kapp. Even with all of the responsibilities that I have been granted, I still felt like I was missing some competitive edge. I decided to take my talents to the University of Dayton Club Rugby team where I learned the rules and regulations of this brand new game. Last year I played on a nationally ranked Dayton Rugby team and am still apart of this organization today. So yes, college changed me in the fact that I am no longer a football player and now am a current "frat star" and rugby player but it has made me the person that I am today. Roll Flyers!
