Nick Gibson-Harper is asenior mass communication major at Winthrop University. Growing up his entirelife he really enjoyed watching and playing sports. Throughout his high schoolcareer, Nick played four sports football, basketball, baseball, and track andfield. Ultimately he ran track on the collegiate level. Once he began to enjoysports Nick knew it could possibly be a career path of his. So, Nick wanted toeither become a sports reporter for a news station or a football coach on thecollege level. Nick was always a hardworking young man, but in 2017 he finally sawsome of it pay off. After not getting some internships that he really wanted,Nick was granted the opportunity to intern with WIS-TV in Columbia SouthCarolina. WIS-TV is a well known NBCaffiliate station in the southeast. Nick said the most rewarding part about the internship was learning new things, and meetingnew people. If Nick isn’t out shooting video he is in his room watching sportsor playing sports. Currently, Mr.Gibson is working on graduating from WinthropUniversity in the fall of 2017. Upon graduating Nick plans to work in media, and attend graduate school
