Nick Harris

I have recently graduated with a 2.1 Honours degree from the University of Gloucestershire in Broadcast Journalism.

I am looking to continue my career within the Media Industry whether it be in PR or Journalism.

As part of my degree I conducted PR for Sainsbury's PLC which was based around local charity work throughout the West Midlands following events and gaining a fantastic insight into corporate PR.

I also completed a period of work experience for the celebrity weekly, Star Magazine in London. where I developed valuable skills and experience that have improved my future work no end.

The skills I have obtained include:

Corporate PR

Journalism (particularly Celebrity based)

Interviewing for all media formats

Technical skills including editing, production and recording.

Team working

Organisational

Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Experience in Radio, TV and Online journalism.

I have a habit of researching random subjects and have a fantastic memory for obscure facts and information.

I am currently living and working in the West Midlands as a Commercial Team Leader with the goal to progress my career within the Media Industry.
