Nicki Stearns

With over 3 years of experience as a multi-disciplinary designer, I’ve found what I’m truly passionate about—crafting amazing user experiences for the end-user. In my last few years as a professional designer, I’ve reinvented myself, progressing from a print designer, into what I am today, a UX/UI designer. I’ve establish a majority of my career within The Walt Disney Company, from Disney’s Distribution Marketing Services in Orlando, FL all the way to Disney Interactive’s Club Penguin in Kelowna, BC, Canada. At Club Penguin, I’m working on an amazingly lean team to rebrand clubpenguin.com, to establish better experiences across all digital touch points for our large 150 million global audience.

In my free time when I’m not designing, I love to spend time with my talented illustrator boyfriend, Jason, cute little shih-poo (Shitzu / Poodle), Henri and awesome black cat, Luc. I like to build furniture, sew and just craft anything with my hands. I’m an avid blog reader. I love to learn, any subject, languages, science, history, etc. I’m a sponge and know a lot of ‘useless’ facts that I randomly blurt out when the mood strikes me.
