Nick Morrow
Attorney in Houston, Texas
I am a founding partner of Morrow & Sheppard LLP. I am an aggressive and relentless trial lawyer, committed to getting my clients results as quickly as possible.
While still at the University of Texas School of Law, I was recruited and offered a job at Fulbright & Jaworski, arguably the most prestigious defense trial law firm in the United States. My many years at Fulbright taught me how to handle every facet of a lawsuit, including how to try cases and negotiate settlements at the highest level. I also learned how large corporations and insurance companies do business, and how they value and settle lawsuits. I have handled cases involving millions—and in at least one case over one billion—dollars. I have been a member of several professional defense organizations, and was asked to serve on the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, the preeminent organization for civil defense trial lawyers in Texas.
Although Fulbright provided both great experience and long-term security, I decided that staying there was not my path. Having grown up in Sealy, I wanted to represent ordinary people and small businesses, not just big corporations and insurance companies. The only way to do that was to start a contingency fee firm, where lawyers front all the fees and case expenses for clients who cannot afford them, and only get paid when their clients win.
