Nick Nowlin serves as the Principal for Investment & Capital Operations at Bravo Victor Venture Capital (BVVC) and Chief of Staff at UNION Technologies, where he drives execution across portfolio operations, capital formation, and industrial strategy. He is also the Founder of Coeus Strategies, an advisory firm that supports national security startups, defense primes, and investors in strengthening America’s industrial base.

He is the Co-Founder and Deputy Director of the Tactical Information Operations (TIO) Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing and honoring the active-duty and veteran members of the Tactical Information Operations program within the Special Operations community.

A 21-year U.S. Navy veteran, Nick retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer from Naval Special Warfare Command under USSOCOM, where he managed programs in signals intelligence, electronic warfare, offensive cyber, and unmanned systems. His operational background and acquisition leadership provide rare fluency across both government and venture ecosystems.

At BVVC, Nick leads investment and capital operations, overseeing diligence, deal execution, and portfolio engagement across the firm’s defense and dual-use investments. His professional focus remains constant: bridging the gap between the warfighter and the technologist, accelerating the path from breakthrough to battlefield, and ensuring the right technologies reach the right hands—fast.
