Nick Paddock

Victoria, London

I graduated from the London School of Economics in 2011, where my main areas of academic interest included microeconomics and applied macroeconomics, labour economics and political economy. My primary areas of research centred around European energy markets, their evolution, and their interaction with EU law.

I returned to the LSE in September 2011, to join the School's European Institute, studying Political Economy. My degree study centered around the challenges facing the European economy, and more specifically how European governments have reacted to budgetary and financial crises, and how they should act in the future, giving me a unique insight into how governments interact with international and domestic economies.

I have a particular interest in modern foreign languages, and hold a Level 5 Certificate in Business and Management French from the LSE Language centre.

I joined G4S Regional Management Corporate Development team in August 2012. I have worked on projects across a range of sectors including security, health, technology, justice, unemployment, manufacturing and the managing agent sector. Most recently, I have been involved with a strategic contract mobilisation for a Fortune 500 company.
