A highly-respected recruitment executive, Nick Pollock is the co-founder and Managing Partner of TMC Japan, a company specialized in the search and recruitment of staff in technology industries. Since founding TMC Japan in 2003, Mr. Pollock has used his extensive recruitment experience and his thorough understanding of Japanese culture and customs to source and maintain relationships with employers and candidates. Under his guidance, the company has risen to be a respected market leader in the recruitment industry today.

Nick Pollock and co-founder Karl Caldeira shared a common goal at the point of inception: to be the top recruitment company for medium- and large-sized technology companies in Japan.

Australian born and raised, Nick Pollock graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Business and held a special interest in marketing and human resources. Showing a strong aptitude for the sales management component of his education, he later applied these skills to his work in the recruitment industry. He gained his experience with Japanese culture and customs while serving in a position with the Board of Education in Nagano. Prior to starting his own company, Mr. Pollock was a Recruitment Consultant for the Japan-based ACCESS Technology.

In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Pollock donates time and money to aid local and international charities. His contributions to the Red Cross were utilized for the Japan tsunami relief efforts, and his donations to the Returned and Services League (RSL) in Australia helped current and past members of the Australian Defense Force with emergency accommodation, home repairs, and the provision of food and supplies.
