Nick Reed Smith is an award winning engineer and leader who served in the US Navy Submarine Corps for 4 years. He is a proud graduate of the Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program, the most demanding academic program in the U.S. Military. Nick served on the USS Montpelier where he advanced to the role of Engine Room Supervisor and was awarded several commendations.

After the Navy, Nick began his civilian career in manufacturing with a focus on engineering, quality assurance and process improvement. Nick has led more than 200 successful projects ranging from system validations to automated production line installation. In addition to his full time career, Nick owns and manages rental property.

Nick graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Cincinnati State with dual majors in Business Finance and Mechanical Engineering Technology. He received the Outstanding Student Leadership Award in 2014 and was invited to give the commencement speech at graduation for his academic achievements.

Nick Reed Smith lives in Greenhills, Ohio with his wife, Meena M. Smith. They enjoy exploring the many lakes and parks nearby.
