Nicky Osborne

Nicky Osborne grew up in East Sussex, a county she will always call home. But Cornwall has had a special place in her heart since her teenage years, when she spent every summer she could immersed in Cornish beach life - swimming, walking the coastal paths and watching the world go by from the sand at Fowey and Polzeath.

In 2020 she made the move permanent, settling in Cornwall to bring her greatest passion to life: writing.

A teacher by profession and a keen observer of people, it was the beachgoers of Cornwall's stunning south and north coasts that gave her the inspiration for Shallow Affairs, her debut novel.
