Award winning Irish portrait photographer, John had humble beginnings as a photographer. Growing from a hobby photographer, shooting Landscape and abstract photography, through the wedding circuit, John developed a passion for photographing people.

With a portfolio with magazine covers, award winning and featured portraiture John has developed his skills for reading people and sharing their inner personalities through their faces.

Working with Canon, John was exposed to a world of high end photographers, from IPPA members to the genius of Clive Booth, top trainers like Hugh McElveen, Brian Worley and Dave Newton. Through these connections John has developed his own style and flair for not only shooting, he has developed his skills as a trainer and tutor, tutoring for The Institute of Photography, Dublin.

In 2014 John along with business partner and fellow photographer Dave McCann, John travelled to London to learn from Headshot supremo, Peter Hurley and were inducted into the realm of world beating portraiture.

John, with Dave have now embarked on a new adventure setting to work on Studio One Five Photography Dublin, Shooting Portrait, Advertising and world class headshots.
