Nico du Plooy

I am a small business owner, Property Investor, Property Coach, Stock / Forex Trader, and project manager currently living in Krugersdorp, South Africa.

I obtained my knowledge for property and forex trading through Rich Dad Education and Legacy Education Alliance. This is also where I spend my time helping others to change their mindsets with regards to updated and proven theories on how to get your time back and ultimately also financial freedom.

I rely on my coaches and mentors for support, focus and guidance.

My past experiences, education and mistakes qualify me to be a motivated, focused go-getter! I believe that I am responsible for my own personal growth, financial future and the legacy I will one day leave behind.

My current goals are to spend more quality time with my family and get my time back.

I am interested in entrepreneurship, cycling, swimming, movies and travel.

Just to give you some information about my journey:

I am originally from Bloemfontein where I started working for a company. I worked my way up from low level staff to senior management. I got married and very soon found myself in a situation where I had to support my parents and my wife’s parents. I also had to look after my own family and doing this on one salary was just not possible! I needed to do something else and decided to be brave and start my own company. After the initial two years of struggle we landed a big contract and managed to double our turnover 4 years in a row. We thought we were untouchable! Unfortunately, our client was bought over by new owners and we lost our contract. We retrenched all our staff and reduced personal income to almost nothing. Once again we were in a very uncomfortable and uncertain situation.

It was around this time I enrolled with legacy Education Alliance and I will never look back. I now have a great support structure and team who keep me motivated!

My journey taught me this: Surround yourself with the people who do what you want to do! Never get too comfortable with your current situation. Always push your boundaries, stretch your comfort zones and obtain multiple streams of income as soon as possible. Keep your eyes on the solutions and not the problems. Education gives you Confidence! Let your current situation be the motivation to take control of your future!
