Nicola Bernini

Hi there, I'm Nicola Bernini.

So far I have spent more than 14 years in professional software engineering and as I first started to work on computers at 6 years old with my Commodore 64 it's basically 32 years I'm in this field.

I'm very passionate about Physics, in fact in addition to my Computer Engineering PhD, I also got another degree in Physics

I have spent my last 7 years working at the intersection of computer vision, machine and deep learning and robotics, developing solutions for autonomous cars at a silicon valley chipmaker.

So far during my career I have covered the following roles

- Senior Software Engineer

- Startup cofounder and CTO

- Project Manager

- Research Scientist (Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, ...)

- Univerity Teacher
