Nicola Foote

My name is Nicola Foote. I am an International Educator in Singapore. I have worked in a range of positions in schools, from Pre K to school leavers as both a homeroom focused teacher, learning support specialist and as a Digital Learning Coach. I am a passionate advocate for amplifying the teaching of 21st century digital literacy skills in primary education.

My belief is that we need to shift our mindset to reimagine and transform what's possible within the realm of learning and focus our attention on how we can innovate current teaching practises in a 21st century learning environment.

I am excited about the dynamic changes that educators are making in order to challenge the status quo in education. From Maker Education and transformative uses of technology , STEAM V's STEM, inquiry, hands on learning and project based learning as well as the current academic research that underpins the importance and value of growth mindset and relationships in supporting and nurturing motivated, independent, life long learners.
