Nicolai Sanders

Høje Taastrup

I completed my Masters Degree in engineering physics and nanotechnology at DTU in 2013

I went on to continue in the group as a research assistant until the start of 2014, developing, building and testing new concepts for mid-infrared microscopes and telescopes.

The subject of my thesis was the design, implementation and testing of a system capable of doing multispectral mid-infrared imaging using nonlinear upconversion with a tunable pump laser.

My work at DTU, and my independent studies, have given me a broad understanding of physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology and the natural world.

My skills include laboratory work, cleanroom work, Matlab programming, Labview scripting and COMSOL simulation.

My specialization is optics and photonics engineering, and the theory associated with this.

In my spare time, you will most often find me socializing with friends, exercising or reading.
