Nicolas Darvas

This article on our website, https://nicolasdarvas.org came as a surprise to Wall Streeters, who were shocked by Mr. Darvas's disregard for many of the long-established, conventional investment practices they were accustomed to. But it also ignited the interest and imagination of thousands of investors across the country. We at the American Research Council, publishers of many of the most widely used and respected investment and business guides, were also impressed by Time's summary of Mr. Darvas' successful investment methods. As a result, we decided to approach Mr. Darvas with a request to write a book describing his methods. It wasn't easy - to find him, our editor-in-chief had to track him down in Paris, where he and his partner Julia were filming a French TV program. There we discovered a remarkable set of circumstances that made this unique book possible.
