Nicolas (better known by his colleagues as Nico) has almost 20 years of experience in the software engineering field.

Nico has been a first-generation programming geek since the day his parents bought him an Amstrad CPC in the late 1980’s. He has spent a lot of nights programming all sorts of things since then. He still does.

Nico holds a diploma in Telecommunications, Networks, Computer and Programming Science from the University of Auvergne in France.

Before life at Orckestra, Nico occupied various positions as a software developer and DevOp, and had his own company at one time, finally landing at Orckestra in 2007 to continue his journey. Since then, he has naturally escalated to becoming the company’s Software Engineering Director.

When he is not working, programming or reading about Software Engineering and Lean practices, Nico enjoys playing hockey.

He lives in Montreal, Canada with his wife and their three children, proudly raising them to possibly become the next generation of geeks. Who knows?
