About Nicola Watson

Nicola Watson is a fashion designer, entrepreneur, artist, scholar and author.

She is currently a clothing designer for Target, formerly Co-Lead fashion designer for Artistabrat Tween/Junior luxury denim collection in Atlanta, and Ucce contemporary womenswear also in Atlanta. She has also shown at Minnesota Fashion Week.

Nicola is the owner and founder of Le Fashion Lab, a fashion school located in Atlanta, GA. The school seeks to prepare students for the fashion world in a non-college environment. (www.lefashionlab.com).

Nicola holds a Master's Degree from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) where she majored in Fashion. She graduated with an over 3.9 cumulative GPA. While at SCAD, Watson was also Fashion Instructor of the Community Education Department, chosen by her own instructor for this esteemed position.

Nicola holds a Bachelor's Degree from Wesleyan College where she triple majored in Advertising & Marketing, Film & Media Communication and Studio Art. She graduated summa cum laude from Wesleyan with a 3.95 GPA, and was the first person ever to graduate with a triple major from this institution. There, Watson earned numerous scholastic and extra-curricular honors.

As an artist, Watson works primarily with paints and pencils. She has taken this love for 2-d art to a 3-d career in fashion design.
