Nicole Cartier

Student Conduct Educator in Biddeford, Maine

Nicole Cartier graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree and a concentration in accounting from Babson College in May of 2014. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Salem State University (SSU), while working as Student Conduct Educator at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Office of Student Citizenship.

Her passion for working with students in hopes of fostering peer-to-peer growth and development, especially in her roles as a Resident Assistant and Honor Board Chair during her undergraduate career, is what inspired her to pursue higher education and student affairs as a professional. Nicole's passion areas in student affairs are mainly Student Conduct and Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence Prevention Programs, but she enjoys working with students through Residence Life as well! Nicole also has an interest in challenging her privilege and getting involved in diversity and inclusion efforts on campus.

In her spare time, Nicole likes to write--namely poetry, read, practice International TaeKwon Do, and spend time outdoors, especially walking the beach or walking trails. She also identifies herself as an extreme animal lover, and currently has a cat, two rabbits, a chinchilla, and a hamster at her home in Maine.
