I strive to teach and inspire others. To love, laugh, and push boundaries. To always find the fun in life (and work!). I want to bring laughter and joy to all areas of life, even when the going gets rough, That's part of the key to front lines work, right?

So, how do I accomplish that? I get the privledge of spending 40 hours of my week as the Manager of Audience Engagement at a community art school. I get to work with people and figure out what will make them more engaged and happier in their experiences. How can we make the transactional more relationship bulding? Along the road of my career, I have the opportunity to work with an amazing staff who are passionate about the mission, organize volunteers, plan some fabulous events, and serve on two boards. I've benefitted (probably more then them) from mentoring many interns and staff in my 7 years in the non-profit world. Finding myself in this field by chance, it seemed to be all in the plans.
