Bonjour Nicole

About Me:
So I guess we can start off with the easy questions.. My name is Nicole Jezerski. I am a freshman attending LIM College: Where Business Meets Fashion in New York City. I plan on getting a degree in Fashion Merchandising and pursuing a career in Fashion Forecasting. My personality is nothing special, I’m just your typical girl next door, with brown hair and brown eyes of average height. I have an excessive shopping problem and I like to read magazines and drink hot tea while I’m curled up by a fire. Now don’t worry, It gets better.. I want to talk a little about my desire for adventure, exploration, and experience. So obviously I’m no Hemingway, but I try my best to experience as much of the world as I can.
As far as my personal background goes, I grew up in a small rural town with an amazing family. My parents and grandparents gave me everything they could and spoiled me almost rotten. I also have an older brother who drilled the phrase “Never stop asking why” into my head, it's a mantra that I still use today.

I remember painting my bedroom walls a different color every few months, wearing Halloween costumes to the mall, and attempting to write books and poetry at age 7, and every time someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, or what my favorite color was my reply would change. Growing older, I started to realize the social aspect of life, I would conform to a group and adopt their interests until I got bored, then I would move to another. Some people would say that I was being fake or changing myself to fit in, but in reality I was learning. Throughout the years I’ve used many different facades such as: gothic, edgy, ghetto, nerdy, athletic, and preppy. Switching from clique to clique was fun for a while but eventually I realized that I just didn’t fit in with any of them. I learned how to pull characteristics from all of the different styles to create my own personality. Now I have a wide range of interests, an ever-changing style, and most importantly an open mind.
I decided on a career in fashion because it supports constant change, allows for travel opportunities, and, lets be real, it feeds my shopping addiction. I’m start m
