Travelling brings opportunities and experiences you would otherwise be without, but it's only in talking to people in the places you go that real stories are heard and it's only in writing them down that others recognise the change which needs to happen.

The more I travel, the more I want to share what's really happening in those places; what's happening beneath the facade. If we accept everything we see without question, then we accept the world blindly.

So as I aspire towards becoming an international investigative journalist, I hope I can open eyes to situations as well as to the world in the process.
