Chicago, Illinois, United States

Nicole Carey: I am a Special Education and Elementary Education duel major with a concentration in Spanish, senior at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. I am graduating in the spring of 2015.

And here is a little about me!

At school I am involved with Fellows, SERVE, Golden Apple at Bradley, and National Society of Leadership and Success

Outside of school I am involved with Girl Scouts of Central Illinois as a volunteer at both the central office and Camp Tapawingo. I have previously volunteered with KidKnits as a curriculum developer and observer, and Crittenton Centers as a regular volunteer.

I have been the Fellows' Secretary from 2013-2014 and the Fellows' Social Chair from 2012-2013

And because I am involved so much with volunteer organizations the list that follow are organizations I have worked closley with in the past year: Midwest Food Bank, Cards That Care, Service on Saturday, Shack-A-Thon, Bradley University Fashion Shows, Three Sisters Haunted House, Throwback Basketball Game, Festival of Trees, American Cancer Society Gala, Gift Wrapping for Advocate Christ Hospital, Crittenton Centers, KidKnits, and Visit Days for Fellows.

My educational experiences include working and observing in a variety of schools including (but not limited to) Hyde Park Day School, Percy Julian Middle School, Dominican University, Northwestern University, Whittier Elementary School, and Peoria Heights High School.
