Nicole Cherry

New York, New York

For over 11 years, Nicole Cherry has been overtly exposed to all aspects of art such as dance, music, and theatre. Her father was in a band and her mother was an aspiring actress. It was no surprise that Nicole would find comfort in the entertainment industry.

Since the age of 9 Nicole was introduced to ballet and technical movement. As she gained this exposure, she became interested in the hip-hop style of dance especially being influenced by television shows such as In Living Color and MTV.

At the age of 13 she sang and danced with a Hip-Hop and R&B group called the “Cherries” going by her stage name “Blazin B”. They recorded in Queens, New York until they separated, moving to different states. Even though the group was no longer in existence, the experience left each member exposed to a taste of the music industry.

Everywhere Nicole went she continued to sing in the church choirs, and dance in the dance programs at her high school, including the hip-hop dance team she founded at her high school in Palm Coast, Florida called “Supremacy”. She also had the opportunity to work with a local music group known as The Coast Nation. This gave her the chance to expand on her musical talents as well as expose them through other ventures. Nicole always knew that performing was her destiny and there was no career that fit her better. Nicole understood that the Music Industry does not always guarantee a career or is at least not easy to enter into. Nicole graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School and went straight to Full Sail University majoring in Music Business. She is looking forward to achieving her dream as a performer and completing her Music Business degree.
