I have glasses! And a ponytail! And paint on my overalls!

In 2005, my husband and I started a small independent movie theater called Moxie Cinema in Springfield, Missouri. It was, and continues to be, the premier place for independent film in southwest Missouri.

After selling the theater in 2010, I promised myself that I would only be involved with projects and organizations that I felt made a difference in my community. Since then, in addition to raising two children, I devote my time to arts advocacy by volunteering at the Springfield Regional Arts Council and spearheading a local artist swap called Queen City Art Swap. I also contribute writing articles for frOlic Magazine, Metropolitan Bride, and The Bravery Board, as well as freelance edit novels and short stories.

Painting has become a daily passion over the past year, and I have been fortunate enough to have exhibits at Hotel Vandivort, The Creamery Arts Center, and The Sky Gallery at the Springfield National Airport.

You can currently find my work at Sangha Studio on Commercial Street.
