Jersey City, New Jersey, United States
After receiving her undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross , and living abroad in Sevilla, Spain, Nicole began her career counselling expecting mothers in Spanish and English at Hudson Perinatal Consortium in Jersey City, NJ and fell in love with the up-and-coming city.
Nicole was offered an opportunity she was not willing to pass up, and moved on to assist with the development of Natirar, a creative transformation of a historic estate home into a resort property, where she played an integral role in its overall planning and design. She oversaw the opening of the first phase, Ninety Acres Culinary Center (restaurant, cooking school, wine school and sustainable farm) and created the strategy and framework for the private membership component of the project before she was able to ignore her desire to be a force for good in the world, Nicole left her post as Natirar’s Chief of Staff to join Virgin Unite, where she connects and empowers a global network of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and change agents to use entrepreneurial ideas to create opportunities for a better world. She has traveled all over the globe, organizing once-in-a-lifetime experiences with Sir Richard Branson, and other amazing individuals.
Massively inspired by the pulse and vibrancy where she lives in Downtown Jersey City, NJ, Nicole founded HenHouse Productions to foster this creative spirit and build upon entrepreneurial energy with the aim of directing it towards social enterprise for the greater good. Her word-of-mouth marketing firm engages both her local community, as well as her global village, in strategic partnerships, purpose-driven events / salons, and conversations 'that matter'.
She is part of the planning / execution Team at TEDxJerseyCity and has volunteered her time and expertise at many organizations, including Susan G Komen and most recently, York Street Project.
