Nicole Jones
Teacher and Artist in South Riding, Virginia
Mrs. Jones has been a Learning Resource Specialist since 1996. She began her teaching career in Loudoun County at Guilford Elementary School. She has taught in Fauquier County prior to coming to Freedom High School. This year is her eighth atFreedom High School.
Mrs. Jones received her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (B. F. A.) in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University (1989). She earned her Master's degree in Education concentrating on Specific Learning Disabilities from George Mason University (1996).
Currently, Mrs. Jones has met the requirements as a highly qualified special education teacher in the areas of Earth Science, Biology, and Algebra I.
This year, she will be team teaching in World History I, and Earth Science, and has started an Art Class with the ID / Autism Program.
