Hi.

I’m Nicole. I’m a fourth year student studying Creative Industries at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. 🇨🇦

My interests and passions vary day-to-day but the few things that have been apart of me since the day I entered this world in 1995 is my unconditional love for design, photography, music and humour. I enjoy anything that visually or creatively stimulates me - be it an incredible well shot and edited video, a music festival poster, great UI/UX design, a song, or even a beautifully arranged grocery store aisle.

I pride myself on being a quick learner, self-taught in all of my interests and my ability to wear multiple hats. I enjoy learning and researching new things - it’s a constant feeling of needing to understand and know more about what is currently consuming me. I use this to my advantage as I’m able to combine a wide set of skills together. As I’m constantly looking to expand and develop my skills, I’ve recently became interested in web development / web design and coding. To learn, I’ve taken on a project in building and designing my own personal website to not only showcase my work but because I'm also interested in the behind-the-scenes & work of how a site comes to fruition (and mainly because templates bore me!). In addition, I’m also interested in the ways that design and technology are becoming more intertwined together as well as big ideas that solve a unique problem - this is all so fascinating to me! I’m continuously aiming to figure out how to merge all my various creative interests into one profession.

I truly do enjoy collaborating and working in a team environment, as cliche as it is. Being interested in sociology and psychology, I enjoy trying to understand and learn how humans operate and communicate etc. I’m always open to meeting and working with other creatives and professionals so let's chat!
