Hey there!

My name is Nicki and I am a student at the PH Heidelberg. I’m from a small town close to Heidelberg and have lived there all my life. I grew up bilingual, with both German and English as my mother tongue and a dual citizenship.

Having family in another country meant that most holidays were spent there, at least this was the case for me. Until I turned 18 almost all trips were to the US visiting my great-grandparents, grandparents, aunt and uncle. Other countries I visited are Austria, Poland, Italy, France, Spain, and Fuerteventura. In the future I want to travel to many other places!

As a part time job I teach English at a tutoring school and work at SAP. On my days at SAP I meet and get to work with people from all over the world. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their cultures and interests and hope to further improve my intercultural communicative competence.

In my free time I enjoy meeting up with friends and spending time with my dog. On lazy days I prefer reading a good book or spending some time on the couch watching my favorite movies and TV shows.
