Nicole Matteo

Hi, I'm Nicole Matteo, a current freshman at The Ohio State University. When taking my Strength's Quest Report the five characteristics that I got were Woo, Positivity, Communication, Includer, and Maximizer. The one that I think I agree with the most is the Woo, which was my number one quality. I am always the person that encourages others when they are down, and people come to for advice. I try to make everyone feel involved and proud of who they are, no matter their current situation. I think that it has helped me to make new friends here on campus and to earn people's trust.

Through our Survey Class, we did many different exercises to become more familiar with the campus and college life. The two that I really enjoyed were the Ohio State Traditions and the Time Management Activities. I really enjoyed the Ohio State Traditions activity because it really made me think about all of the great things that we have here on campus. Our school is full of so much pride in tradition that it creates such a fun atmosphere to be in. I talked about how Carmen Ohio makes me feel like a real part of this university and really unites the student body. Also, I loved the time management activities because it helped me to really evaluate where I was spending the most time on and where I could improve my time management skills. It helped me make the most use of my time, and use as much time as possible every day.
