Nicole Metz is an experienced human resources and talent management professional with more than three decades of expertise across enterprise, mid-market, and government contracting organizations.
She started her career at Xerox Corporation in federal account sales before transitioning into the company's training organization. There, she trained hundreds of newly hired sales representatives and later prepared incoming training managers for their roles. She also contributed to the Xerox People Development Board.
Nicole Metz continued her career in human resources leadership at Nextel Communications, serving as Senior Manager of Human Resource Development. She later joined ACTERNA Corporation, where she oversaw a global services and solutions education portfolio. At Science Applications International Corporation, she spent approximately eight years as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and later Director of Talent Development and Management. Her contributions earned her the company's People First Award, an honor selected from a workforce of approximately fifteen thousand employees.
She later became Senior Director of Talent Management for the Intelligence Group at TASC Corporation, partnering with senior executives on succession planning, organizational design, executive coaching, and workforce strategy. She also created the company's first redeployment guide. In addition to her corporate leadership experience, she has operated an independent consulting practice supporting Fortune 500 companies and smaller government contractors.
Nicole Metz earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Business Administration from Marymount University, graduating with honors. Her professional affiliations have included the Society for Human Resource Management and the Association for Talent Development.
Her community involvement has included volunteering with youth sports, STEM and robotics initiatives, parish education programs, soup kitchens, and support drives benefiting service disabled veterans. She has also volunteered as a driver assisting cancer patients traveling to medical treatment. She lives with her family and serves as a caregiver for her husband, a service disabled veteran, and her father, a disabled veteran of the Vietnam era.
