Retail Minded Founder & Editorial Director Nicole Leinbach Reyhle is an experienced retail and wholesale professional who has a passion for small businesses. After years of working for respected retailers and wholesalers that included Nordstrom, Adidas America, Sears Corporation and Franco Sarto Footwear, Reyhle founded Retail Minded in 2007 to support boutique style businesses throughout the world. Founded to help individual business owners thrive in their unique goals, Retail Minded is Reyhle’s own dream that began as a consulting business and has since become a destination source for valued support, news and education on all aspects of the retail industry.

Since 2007, Reyhle has supported the retail and small business community-at-large through writing, speaking, webinars, workshops and more – including having published over 500 articles specifically written for independent retailers. As the Founder & Editorial Director of Retail Minded Magazine, a retail lifestyle publication that debuted in January 2012, Reyhle delivers news, education and support for retailers both in and out of their stores through a unique Partner Program, as well as through individual subscribers. Additionally, Reyhle has a professional Advisory Board whom she leans on for insight, knowledge and trusted retail expertise. She is also the co-founder of the Independent Retailer Conference, which takes place annually. With a full schedule that includes in-store research, community support, national events, trade show participation and more, Reyhle is committed to working with independent retailers and small business owners in an effort to best support their unique goals.

In addition to Reyhle’s work with Retail Minded, she has been an adjunct instructor at Columbia College Chicago since 2004, teaching various retail and writing courses. Reyhle also contributes to a variety of professional trade publications that include Party & Paper Retailer, Museums & More, Floral Management and many others. Finally, Reyhle is active in a variety of retail and small business focused Advisory Boards throughout the nation and continuously works to stay engaged in retail trends, research, news and more.
