Nicolette Barajas

Tempe, Arizona

Hi there! I'm Nicolette. I was born and raised in the culturally diverse Los Angeles California. I was brought up in a house with two older sisters who have taught me valuable lessons about trust and responsibility. I have a very large extended family that values tradition, celebration, and delicious home cooking. Without the support of my parents, sisters, and other family, I would not have had the courage to venture off to Arizona State University to pursue a B.S. in Communication and a minor in Women and Gender Studies. ASU has given me many great friends and adventures. The professors and instructors that I have met along the way have encouraged me to thrive academically. Learning is the air I breathe and I could not imagine a life where I do not learn something new on a regular basis. I hope to continue my education after I graduate so that I may truly learn all that I can and fine tune my skills on a professional level.
