Nicolle Saunders

Hello everyone,

My name on my birth certificate is; Nicolle Linda Saunders. However, all of my friends and family call me 'Mooze'. This has been my nickname since before my first birthday. I was born on the 18th of September 1992, which makes me none other than a Virgo.

I was born and raised in Zimbabwe. I lived all over this beautiful African country and attended four different schools through both my primary and secondary education, in both Matebeleland and Mashonaland. My friends and family really are the most important thing to me and every day I only realise this more and more. My aim is to always be happy for, and supportive of all of those that surround me. I want people to feel confident and be able to be themselves in front of me.

I am in love with the bush in Zimbabwe, I can't think of anything better than sitting beside or on the Zambezi River having sun downers with my friends and my family. I crave this every day that I am not doing exactly this. I sometimes worry that I am ADHD because I find it difficult to sit still and not doing anything productive. Very sadly for me, school work often fails to fall under the productive department.

I am currently in my second year of university at UCT in Cape Town, majoring in Media and Writing and English Literature (I hope to move into Human Rights Law). I do love this beautiful city so much but I will always miss being on the veranda at home sharing a pot of tea with the family.

I really enjoy being active and keeping fit and healthy. This is why when told to create our own personal blog this is the first thing that came to my mind.
