Nicolás López-Pérez
Attorney, Writer, and Musician in Santiago, Chile
Nicolás López-Pérez (1990) is a Chilean attorney-at-law, young writer and musician. He is also a regular columnist on Absenta Musical (web magazine about music). From the philosophy, poetry and art, he aims to create an original proposal in the way of prosophy. His interests also include critical thinking, institutional design, analytic philosophy and aesthetics. He wrote three books “Times and Tides. A Season on the Road” (Tiempos y Tempestades: Una temporada en el camino, Santiago of Chile, forthcoming 2016), “Distilled Philosophy” (Filosofía Destilada, Santiago of Chile, 2015) and “Ladders, Animations and Criticism” (Escaleras, Animaciones y Crítica, Madrid [Spain], 2013). The first is poetry, the other two philosophical essays. Mr. López-Pérez also published papers in academic journals. He holds a B.A. in Law from the University of Chile, where he wrote a thesis related with analytical jurisprudence (philosophy of law).
