Nic Stockman

Hi! Thanks for stopping by - I'm Nic - Here's some short highlights of my life:

• Grew up in a small rural South Carolina town in a blue-collar family and spent many weekends helping my grandparents on their farm.
• Won a governor's award for having 12 years of perfect attendance (thanks Mom and Dad for the support and encouragement here)!
• Always been a car fanatic and at age 15 I made a list of dream cars that I wanted to own (still working on this but the list keeps growing).
• At 16 my dad and I bought my first car together - a 1978 Corvette Stingray, which I still own today!
• Worked at a golf course in high school and played all kinds of sports including Football, Golf, Tennis, and my senior year I joined the Cheerleading team.
• Went to a small private college on a cheerleading scholarship before tearing my ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
• My senior year of college I worked 3 jobs, was a founding member of a fraternity, and joined the Hans A. Nielsen College of Business Mentorship Program helping develop young business professionals.
• Graduated college in 2005 without a single student loan and started working for the college as a recruiter while also finishing up a second degree in business, which was completed in 2008.
• Joined a benefits tech company where I began to grow my knowledge of healthcare and the insurance industry. Became a licensed broker.
• At the same time, I started several other companies that include a private rental car company, a mobile cigar lounge, and a benefits brokerage firm.
• Was voted on as a Board Member of a North Carolina based real estate company.
• Recently wrote a children's book designed to help dads bond with their kids over the ever challenging game of golf, titled, Bentley Goes Golfing!
• I recently took on a couple small acting roles on the hit Netflix show, Outer Banks.
• Most importantly, along the way I've also had the amazing honor of getting married and raising three of the coolest and most competitive kids you'll ever meet!

I've lived a fascinating life full of adventure, excitement, and incredible joy. Most days I wake up grateful and blessed to be where I am. And while I enjoy looking back at all the places I've been and things I've accomplished, what really excites me is what my future holds and the chapters of my life that are still yet to be written!
